Thank you to these wonderful celebrities and volunteers who have used their talents or participated in raising awareness, bringing smiles to thousands of children we've helped over the years.

Rosario Dawson

Actress

 

 

Rosario Dawson is an American actress, producer, singer, comic book writer, and political activist. She made her film debut in the 1995 teen drama Kids. Her subsequent film roles include He Got Game, Men in Black II, 25th Hour, Rent, Sin City, Death Proof, Seven Pounds, Percy Jackson and the Olumpians: The Lightning Thief and Top Five. Dawson has also provided voice-over work for Disney and DC.

 

Special thanks to Rosario Dawson who recently joined our Adopt A Country mission at Kimberly Moore Foundation in August 2017, to help bring education to children in Liberia, West Africa.

Adrian Paul, is an English actor best known for his role on the television series Highlander: The Series as Duncan MacLeod as well as having directed some film and television series. He is also the founder of The Peace Fund charitable organization.

 

The Peace Fund was founded in 1997 with Adrian's mandate of "helping children everywhere" and starting with the Fund's initial program "School Makes a Difference". After the tsunami of 2004, Adrian's personal connection with Koh Phi Phi in Thailand helped create the Fund's "Peace in Paradise" project. In 2006, Adrian joined people of the stature of Mikhail Gorbachev as a recipient of the WorldWide Charitable Alliances' Peacemaker Award.

 

Special thanks to Adrian Paul and his wonderful charity "The Peace Fund" and Peace Fund Radio which has adopted wishes of many children and families who were in desperate need of food, clothes and tickets for entire families to go to Disneyland with their kids.

Joyce Giraud

Actress, Model, Former Miss Universe Puerto Rico

He is 16 years old, born in Los Angeles and is of Mexican descent as has been singing in public events since the age of 3. Cheyo is a Solo artist known for his hit single "Mi Complemento" featuring Edith Rea who was a finalist in Brilla Una Estrella in 2004.

 

Cheyo is one of the most loved celebrities in our communities followed by hundreds of thousands of fans in Los Angeles and through the United States and growing.

 

He first met Kimberly Moore in 2014 and has been using his time and talents to bring awareness to Kimberly Moore Foundation programs. Cheyo performed for us at a concert for Adopt A Letter on Nov 16, 2014 attracting thousands of teenage fans. Since then, Cheyo joined our program and has participated in making dreams come true almost everyday throughout the holiday and spring, delivering food, backpacks, school supplies and even joined us to take our kids on surprise shopping sprees for new clothes for school.

Nicoleta Vaculov

Super Model

Nicoleta Vaculov is a former Romanian super model for Guess and has been seen on covers, editorials, commercials and runway shows around the world. She currently resides between Romania and Los Angeles and has been volunteering with the Kimberly Moore Foundation since March 2014 going door to door making wishes come true. She has also particpated in our Hope Ambassador luncheon with our at risk teens, sharing her story and encouraging them to live their dreams.

Ira Terrell

Retired NBA Player

Ira Terrell is a retired American professional basketball player. Terrell played in the National Basketball Association from 1976 to 1979 as a member of the Phoenix Suns, New Orleans Jazz and Portland Trail Blazers. He averaged 7.0 points per game and 4.2 rebounds per game in his career.  Ira currently resides in Dallas, TX.

 

Ira Terrell recently joined the Kimberly Moore Foundation Celebrity Ambassadorship program in June 2015 to help inspire and mentor some of our Adopt A Letter kids who wish to make a career in sports.

Cindy Gomez

Singer/Songwriter

Gomez's big break came in January 2008 when she received a phone call from producer Michael Bradford to perform with Ringo Starr on Larry King Live, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, and at the House of Blues.t some of the schools, offer inspiration and instruction for some of the students and schools we've worked with. Gomez signed her first record deal with Interscope Records worldwide and Universal Music Group for Canada in 2009 when Dave Stewart introduced her to his longtime friend Jimmy Iovine, founder of Interscope Geffen A&M. In 2009, Gomez became the first artist to make her debut in a mobile game, "Dance Fabulous" on N-Gage (service) by Nokia via 40 million mobile handsets worldwide. The game included a dancing Gomez avatar and five of her songs, which positioned her at the forefront of a trend that marries music with mobile entertainment. Shortly after Gomez went on a European tour to promote the Dance Fabulous video game. She also performed with Dave Stewart n Vienna for Life Ball, Europe's largest AIDS-related charity event, where she performed a new song that she and Stewart co-wrote and donated called "I Bring You Love", to a live audience of 70,000 which was also broadcast live throughout Europe at the opening Ceremony.

 

Cindy Gomez joined our Celebrity Ambassador program in May 2008 to help inspire and educate some of our teens who are passionate about music, singing and song writing. 

Macy Gray is an American R&B and soul singer, songwriter, musician, record producer, and actress, known for her distinctive raspy voice, and a singing style heavily influenced by Billie Holiday.

 

Gray has released six studio albums, and received five Grammy Award nominations, winning one. She has appeared in a number of films, including Training Day, Spider-Man, Scary Movie 3, Lackawanna Blues, Idlewild and For Colored Girls. Gray is best known for her international hit single "I Try", taken from her multi-platinum debut album On How Life Is.

 

Macy first participated with the Kimberly Moore Foundation's - Adopt A Letter program in January 2014 and joined Kimberly Moore along with her children to surprise a young gentlemen who was quadropeligic who has not gone out of his home in 8 years. We surprised him with a brand new custom made van so he can at last be mobile.

Joyce Giraud de Ohoven, is a Puerto Rican actress,model, and beauty pageant titleholder. She is a two time Miss Puerto Rico and the second runner up in the 1998 Miss Universe pageant. She had previously represented Puerto Rico at Miss World 1994.

 

Giraud was featured in episodes of Baywatch, and in the film Dude, Where's My Car?. More recently, she has starred in TV shows likeHouse of Payne and Joey. In 2013, She joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for the fourth season. Joyce is also a film and television producer and just opened her first school in Sengal Africa with the UNESCO Foundation.

 

Joyce has volunteered with us a number of times through out the years delivering food, clothes, toys, backpacks and school supplies door to door to children living in the Los Angeles community. She even organized her participants from her Queen of the Universe pageant to volunteer, help us organize letters, pack gifts and join us for deliveries during the holiday season.

Astronaut Buzz Aldrin was one of the first people to walk on the moon. He and flight commander Neil Armstrong made the Apollo 11 moonwalk in 1969.. He was the Lunar Module Pilot on Apollo 11, the first manned lunar landing in history. He is also a former U.S. Air Force officer and a Command Pilot.

A virtuoso violinist, England wowed audiences during the Backstage at the Geffen fundraiser last March with his performance of John Legend’s “All of Me.” He has performed, as a featured act, for Jay-Z & Beyonce, Rihanna’s Diamond Ball, the NAACP Image Awards and the John Wayne Cancer Institute. He has appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the Mo’Nique Show, and on Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Making the Band.nteer, help us organize letters, pack gifts and join us for deliveries during the holiday season.

 

Lee England Jr. has been a great supporter of the Kimberly Moore Foundation's - Keeping Harmony Alive program dedicated to saving music programs in public schools located in highly impoverishes areas. Lee has founded his own non-profit also called Love Notes which mentors and instructs young musicians offering various levels of classes. He recently joined our Educational partnership program of Kimberly Moore Foundation and KHA program to speak at some of the schools, offer inspiration and instruction for some of the students and schools we've worked with. We look forward to a great collaborating with Love Notes to help further our impact in the communities.

Lorenzo Neal

NFL, American Football Fullback

 

Lorenzo Neal is an American football fullback who played in the NFL from 1993–2009. He was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the fourth round of the 1993 NFL Draft. He played college football at Fresno State. A four-time Pro Bowl selection and three-time All-Pro selection, Neal has also been a member of the New York Jets, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tennessee Titans, Cincinnati Bengals, San Diego Chargers, Baltimore Ravens and Oakland Raiders. Considered one of the best blocking fullbacks in NFL history,  Neal blocked for a 1,000+ yard running back in eleven straight seasons from 1997–2007. Neal and close friend Major Rogers established the “Changing a Generation Foundation” to help youth from Fresno High School learn to set and achieve goals while working toward a college education. Neal also owns a commercial real estate business, M & N Service Inc., which manages apartment complexes around Fresno. Neal is interested in pursing a career in sports broadcasting after he retires. In March, he spent three days co-hosting NFL Total Access on the NFL Network.

 

Lorenzo joined our organization in 2010 as a sponsor for Echelon events, and will work with us to inspire and talk to kids who wish to make a career in sports.

 

 

 

 

Cindy Martinez

Actress, TV Host

Cindy Martinez is a well host and presenter for major events. She has co-host for major TV Networks in the US, such as: Univision, Telemundo and TV Azteca. Cindy has been volunteering with our Adopt A Letter program since 2007 actively going door to door helping children in need! She became a Hope Ambassador in 2008 and has become a emcee fand inspirational speaker at  our annual events at Plaza Mexico attended by thousands of members of the community!

Krayzie Bones

Rapper, Producer, Entrepreneur

 

 

Anthony Henderson, better known as Krayzie Bone, is an American rapper, producer, and entrepreneur. He is a member of the rap group Bone Thugs-n-Harmony. Their song "Tha Crossroads" won Best Rap Performance By A Duo Or Group at the 39th GRAMMY Awards

 

The Kimberly Moore Foundation would like to welcome our newest member Krayzie Bone of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony as Celebrity Hope Ambassador, mentoring at risk teens in our community! We are so excited to have him on board!
