INTERNSHIPS

Opportunity for youths to gain a real world experience in the workforce

DONATE TODAY!

The Kimberly Moore Foundation connects positive adult role models with high school students and graduates to help them gain practical and real world experience in their expected career field. Internships are a great way for our youths to gain a competitive edge, further education and get inspired in the professions they are potentially interested in. At the same time, it can help boost their resumes, and improve their college and scholarship applications. Participating in an internship allows the student to refine their interest, while exploring future career opportunities to determine what they may want to study in college. Internships are also a great way for the student to enhance their self-confidence, make critical professional contacts and possibly land a full time job.

Research shows that 85 percent of companies use internships and similar experiential education programs to recruit for their full-time workforces.
